Hello all, I am looking to have a custom cafe racer bike built for me by a factory in China that builds other bikes for a local company here (beachman bikes).

I am able to choose the parts and I am wondering what the compatibility of my choices are and if I can use higher watts on my motor to be supported by my battery.

I am hoping to go around 60-80max km to keep up with traffic or pass at times but will generally cruise around 50km. Hoping to get 50-80km range from the bike, 30-40 at 80% efficient . I can upgrade the 72v battery to 55-80ah but it will be more money /change the appearance of the bike drastically. Recommendations ?

72v 45ahv lithium Battery
72v 3000w QS Brushless motor v3 or 72v 4000w QS v3
Kelly KLS 7245n 100a continuous Controller or 7230s

Bike - 82kg without battery + ~20kg with
Me: 165lbs

Planning to use KLS 7245 at less capacity to keep it cool if I got with the 3000w motor, ideally I want to see if I can use the 4000w motor with this controller and if the battery will support it for a sustainable range.

Thanks !

I believe the Cromotor would be comparable to the QS205. I adjusted the motor KV of the 4T version to match your top speed, so probably more like a 3T, not sure.

Thanks for the reply!

Would my battery be enough to supply a 4000w over a 3000w motor with an average speed of ~32 - 50 km for atleast 50km?

I am currently facing the power vs range debate right now - area has a few hills but I'll mostly be riding flat ground paved roads.

If you check the box next to Throttle Auto, then slide the dotted vertical line over to 50kph, then in the theoretical range will display in the table below the graph. In reality, all bets are off if you have a powerful system, because most people really can't control their throttle hand and will use a lot of power due to the fun factor.
