Hello everyone,

I hope you are well.
I wan to ask you what is the best way to fix the nickel strip on the cells 1865 not to move when we sold on automatic soldering.
- Fix on stick double face
- Assemble a plastic with magnet and fix it in the cells litium
- Or how to create a fixture does not move the nickel strip
-Do you know any provider can provide fixture this ?

Thank you for our response and your time.

Kind regards,

The cover need to be magnet , to avoid some misalignment when soldering.
Or, what is the best practice,?

I use a machine like this , and I need a support

What is the best manner to keep the battery steady or not to move during the automation welding.

Thank you

I think the best method is to have features on the cell holders that secure the nickel strips. Otherwise, your welding fixture has to do that job.
Generally fixtures are just machined bakelite or similar material. I just 3D printed some with PLA, and they work fine.
Thank you for your response but how to secure the nickel strips ? like this
