Flying with eBike

I'm in the process of converting our Swissbike LX's (aka Montague) to eBikes via the Bionx system. Does anyone have experience regarding flying with LiMn or similar batteries? Are the TSR folks flipping out over these, or is it a matter of just not advertising that you have Li-whatever batteries?
