This is my first build where I don't use off the shelve parts like bbs02 that are easy to build an ebike.

I have built batteries before but this is the first time I tried copper-nickel sandwich method and also I never welded anything before like steel and aluminum.

The project is already ongoing for 3 months (and is still not finished) because of the learning curve in welding and fabricating custom mounts

The battery is a 20S7P with LG M50 cells built with 0.1mm copper and 0.2mm pure nickel.
I don't suggest using these "honeycomb" style cell holders - they're way too fragile and the space saving is negligible
Custom welded aluminum case - had to grind down the weld spots because they were so ugly

The bike itself I bought it used came with some parts off a motorcycle or a mini bike - which should help with the extra weight and power.

The motor is a QS90 which im hopeful will pull 10kW occasionally.
Attached to the rear wheel on a 55T rear and 10T front sprocket with 420 chain.
The motor does stick out considerably .. but I think since the pedals are up front it shouldn't interfere with the pedalling (if I ever make it)

Everything looks good; I would just tie in the motor mounts to the chainstays and beef up the stays with c-channel possibly. I’ve done it on a schwinn with the same power but a helluva lot vibration. Used 1” channel for the chain stays and 3/4” square tube cut in half lengthwise for the seat stays.
