giant trance 2012 x4 and bafang mid-drive

hi, i'm beginner in ebike so apologize for the question, i do have FS giant trance x4 2012 that i want to be installed with 750w bafang mid drive unit,but this bike has press fir so the bike shop told us this is not possible to try. Is there any alternative or suggestion that will fit with this bike ? This is mountain bike and mostly will be used for steep hills. Thanks.

Hi I have 2013 giant trance build with a hs4040 hub it's low speed hi torque god for 15 to 30 mph I live in the mountains and does all the tracks that the xc guys pedal
