I have a Giant Yukon, with Shimano BB, and SLX Crankset / derailleurs. I like them! After looking around more it seems the GNG freewheels (Triple Diamond) aren't terribly strong. I would like to keep 3 chainrings up front if possible.

I like the motor, and pricepoint, and I already have the batteries.

Is there anyone that makes a Crank Free wheel that is Shimano BB compatible? I was thinking if Race Face made an longer X-type ISIS spindle, that perhaps there are other off the shelf parts that might make it possible. I am not overly familiar with bicycle parts in general. I don't care about weight savings, but I dislike cartridge bearings, and I'd like to use a stronger free wheel, if the GNG one is likely to crap out. I was thinking this one:

I can't see in their kit, where the bearings actually mount the chainrings to the spindle though:

I found this Shimano electric chainring, that fits their splined shaft. It looks like a freewheel, but it may not support much torque:

I don't know if the Shimano style BB cup bearings (deep groove ball?) will be able to handle the motor torque with me pedaling as well?

The setup is for knee therapy to start, so top speed isn't important, but reliability is. I'd like to avoid sudden component failures, and at least be able to get home if something starts to go.
