GNG NEW BRUSHLESS (GEAR) MID DRIVE KIT (GEN 2)?

I have read a lot about the gng kit with the external belt reduction system. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this brushless metal gear reduction kit? I heard a lot of people have problems with the belt drives and it looks like a headache converting to a chain drive. Is the belted system that much better than the metal geared system?
