I went to Walmart and bought a wired Bell computer for $14.00 and some change today. I wanted to know how fast my bike is without breaking the bank. The no load speed on the front hub motor is 41.3 mph. Running both of my motors at full throttle I maxed out at 31.7 mph with me on the bike. It might be a little faster, I was dealing with some headwinds. My average speed for a little over 9 miles was 20.1 mph but every time I looked down at the speed it was either 28.7 or 26.5 mph. After my ride I tested the no load on the front and it was just over 35 mph. I can't test the rear motor because the type of computer I bought won't work with the rear of my bike. Even on the front it was difficult to get it to pick up a signal. There can only be about 2 mm of space between the sensor and the magnet. I had to put a hard, thick piece of rubber between the sensor and the fork to get it close enough to the magnet. Well that was my adventure for the day.
