Started with a rebuild, the original batteries where gone as well, took them out, i can buy new ones pretty cheap, my question is should i but the new ones or go with another option, looking at the info below.
I opened one of them, and too my surprise there is no BMS in and is the batteries.
Every battery consists out two, three or four 1,5ah 12s blocks, all connected in parallel, giving a total of 17,5kwh.
As mentioned each block has 12 cells in series but no BMS anywhere. I really wonder how these batteries are safe, and how they handle cell drift. The packs are made in Taiwan and the bike is German build, danish company designed the electronics, so not cheap stuff.
