Hall sensor positioning

Hi folks, photo attached on where I think I need to add hall sensors to my motor. You'll notice further out from these points are some other sensors, these are the original commutator sensors for the motor that I cannot use.

As far as making a car this project is dead.

Basically from my calculations I could make a car with a range of 30 miles, probably back roads not highway. This would be enough to get to work and back; however there is a high chance I'll switch jobs or the company will get bought out sometime in the next 1-2 years. So it could be that just about the time I finish, the car will effectively be useless..another job will involve a longer highway commute...

Soooo I still have the motor parts and I'm leaning towards a nice electric scooter conversion, take an old scooter with a blown motor and do a conversion.
