Hi, i have a electric moped and i have just received a full faced helmet and i have found out that i am struggling with my glasses.
In fact i can't actual get them on for risk of damaging them ,so although not their fault i am returning the helmet to try and find a suitable one ,i would prefer a open faced helmet with a visor so if any one could help on this issue it would be appreciated .Thanks

I just bought a helmet so that I could wear my glasses. I was going to buy prescription sunglasses but realized I could just wear my regular glasses with a tinted visor for the sun. I wasn't wearing a helmet and had no desire to but this is the cheapest solution for wearing glasses while riding. The one I bought has a magnetic visor so it's easy to put on with glasses. Added bonus it has a light on the back. I'm so much safer now with a helmet, lights and clear vision all for $40.00. Here is the one I bought VICTGOAL Bike Helmet on Amazon. I don't know if it's rated for mopeds though. I bought it as a glasses visor, protection wasn't a concern.

For more focused advice, you might add some explicit examples of what you want. This is a bicycle forum, so most readers know about bicycle helmets and there is such a thing as a full face bicycle helmet - that's what you want? In addition to defining "helmet", we may also miss the mark because all glasses may not be the same ... maybe you could solve the problem with more compact glasses?

If you want a full meal deal motorcycle helmet, a couple general points. I'd have that problem with a full face helmet, and of course any helmet without that jaw protection would work fine. It wouldn't protect my face as much, though. What I actually wore when I had a motorcycle was a "modular" helmet - you put it on, and then swing the face part down and latch it. They're probably the heaviest helmets you can get, but I haven't checked that. Secondly, before that - back in the '70s before there was any such thing - I tried a snap on face shield, but eventually preferred a small bill that snapped on the same way, if I remember right because it offered better vision and seemed to work about the same due to some air flow effect. I had a windshield though.

FWIW, I used the Speed Strength SS2200 helmet with my glasses just fine some years ago, both with and without it's removable chinguard and visor. I just had to put them on after putting the helmet on.

It also fit Phideaux pretty well

(I don't use one anymore since building the SB Cruiser trike and riding just that, rather than the CrazyBike2).

Thanks all for the replies, I have gone for a Belfast Scorpion exo as it as provisions for glasses wearers .
