Help for those wanting similiar to a123

Well , i havent had a123 batteries .. Personally i am allways more interested in finding something that others havent tried .. I dont necessarily buy branded products and moving where everybody is moving etc..
Nevertheless a123 batteries are great...
As i have seen ; people here are spending way much money on cells with no guarantee that they are original etc...Some of them are great , others not so much
I have bought one battery pack ( consists of cylindrical cells that have never been tested by anybody ) for testing and in 3 months i will send the results here when i do to help in pursuit of middle price and nice battery
But that brings us to second thing . When i was searching the web for battery i bought i found one company that i find interesting .

IMPORTANT : I DONT KNOW THIS COMPANY , I DIDNT TRY THEIR CELLS , I AM POSTING THIS ONLY TO HELP GUYS WANTING SOMETHING SIMILIAR TO A123 THAT ARE READY TO RISK ONE SAMPLE TO CHECK IT OUT
AS I HAVE SAID ABOVE I ALLREADY SPENT TO MUCH MONEY ON ONE OTHER BATTERY AND I WILL NOT BUY IT AND TEST IT MYSELF

But I can vouch the FULLRIVER LiPOs of small size are
quite good and reliable since I used plenty of them in
my micro RC planes and heli ... :wink: :wink:

From my point of view ther cells are a bit mixed bag. i have not tried them but max and burst disscharge rates are in wide brackets if i can put it that way. second thing they state more than 90 percent capacity only after 190 cicles?

Did try to ask them for some samples of 10,20 and 30AH prismatic cells. They came back asking details of the company, what for these cells gonna be used. Then they didnt had some cells in stock, so i stopped bothering. Here is a conversation:

pity for the last sad news from the FULLRIVER battery company ...
it was just yesterday I moved around another of their LiPO in a small chopper ...
long life and never had any problem whatsoever ....

from my experience with their battery, I would say their quality and price would very likely be
a very good tradeoff for us EV enthusiast with limited budget that still prefer to avoid
burning alive inside their last rigged-up electric car
