Hello,

I have supposed NCR18650GA Cells from 2017 from a Chinese Vendor who is no longer in Business (Glace Technology Shenzhen) and would like to know if anyone know if these 140 Cells are legit and if I can order more NCR18650GA Cells to make a 20S10P 200Cell Pack? They all have about 3.49V.

What intrigues me also is the “B” Printed on the Cell. Does this mean it’s a B-Class Cell?

I have an old 1010B+ Charger. Should I do a capacity test on a few with it?

Kind Regards

Is the QR code, etc, identical on every cell? If so, they're probably counterfeit. You can use various apps or web pages to see what the QR code actually means, too. (it's probably serial / batch / etc info, and should probably be different on every cell--you can check the actual manufacturer datasheet to find out).

Are they double-wrapped, in blue then red? If so, they're probably counterfeit, original wrap as blue, then rewrapped to appear to be the second brand (not uncommon).

If you need to test the cells, you can compare your results with those for this cell over at lygte-info.dk .
