I'm considering making an electric supermoto as my winter project. Last winter I put a roots supercharger on a motorcycle and want a new project.
So the trickiest thing seems to be motors. Basically, I want this to be a hooligan bike, tons of power, range is less of a factor. Last time I looked around, it seemed there weren't many (any) options or good motors that could handle a lot of power (60+ideally) while still being lightweight. Price is less of an issue, if there were a 100+hp motor induction water cooled, lightweight motor, that would be awesome. For example, are there any purchasable motors similar to the ones used in the Lightning LS-218, zero's bikes, brammos?
