The link says it all, IF you understand the technology. If this is being done, why is there nothing available in a scaled down version, to get the powerful motors that motorcyclists are searching for ? A 10_ diameter motor 14" long that generates 2000 HP is certainly something to look into. I thought about placing this in the ES motor development thread, but, maybe this will get some serious input from those that understand this technology.

Hi Harold,

Wondered same thing myself. I know John. One thing that doesn't phase him is high current. Works with plasma furnaces day job.

WRT 2000hp from 10" motor, I'll wait and see. He does say it will be "drag race duty" rated. But still. I think he is extrapolating from some data taken at much lighter loads. I'd really like to see a 2000hp load test for like 5 seconds.

John's a determined fellow. I wish him luck. If he doesn't get quicker with this motor, he'll be trying something else.

Hey Major
Thanks for checking in to this topic. Like you, I will be watching.

Pity he is missing some motor basic fundamentals, and doesn't quite get the sine vs trap effects, but I like the guy and his heart is in the right place and I wish him the best.

How on earth do you get 95-97% efficiency with 7500 amps? Did the guy invented room temperature superconductors?
