How many miles do you put on your eBike per month?

I was a little surprised that I have ridden about 200 miles each month in the two months I have had my eBike. Much of that is commuting to work.

I'll bet that many of you blow that number away. How far do you your ride each month?

To underwhelm, and quell any misgivings you have of your own distance, I can say I averaged closer to 100mi/mo this past year.

To expound (or defend if only in my mind), I have a sub 1mile 'commute' and the bike is not always used over better suited walking or vehicle use. So short trips and mostly play. Anything between towns I'm usually driving not riding, unless it's a road legal motorcycle with ability to hit the highway++.

I guess the bike is for utility where applicable, but def offroad adrenaline along with specific excercise I don't get with normal work, or fun (same thing imo) Love working on and riding the ebike though, it's amazing the various applications and users all enjoying the widening modern electrical application.

Mine varies a lot, but the goal is 50-100 miles a week. I definitely tend to feel my best if I get in at least 75 miles a week, 300 a month. In winter I ride a lot less than that though.

My ebikes are a 95%+ car replacement, but I have no commute. With the bikes I tend to get out more often (any excuse for an ebike blast to go get something will do) and don't do the consolidate multiple tasks in one trip like I did with the car, which averaged 800-1000 miles a month. Add rainy season to the mix where I only go out before the rain, and let's call it 500-1000 miles a month. The high end is just 33mi/day, so that's probably low. Even with oil prices so low gas is still expensive here, over $3/gal after the recent price reduction, so the savings on gas alone really pile up which has made the most rewarding hobbie I've ever had more than pay for itself for the past 8 years...all thanks to ES, where I learned everything I know that I didn't pick up through direct experience.

The ebike is a toy for me, having scaled down from larger ones (no DMV to have to deal with, inspections, storage, etc). More of an exercise machine with a cherry on top.
Now on my rides, I can at least keep up with chubby girls on mountain bikes. About 100 miles a month in decent weather.
At this rate, I am going to need to put Stabil in my gas bike.....it just sits.

I average 300+ miles per month over the year. I had an extra 1050 miles going into this last winter. With a really mild winter here this year, I'm still way ahead of my yearly goal of 3650 miles. 10 miles per day strictly for exercise.

13,000 miles on this bike, it will be 2 years old come May. So 565 total average per month, but there is about 2 months of inclement weather where I live. I know spring and summer I normally do around 800 miles a month. Normal commute is 37 miles round trip. I'd do a lot more a year if I was in FL or a warmer climate with fair weather. I ride down to about 25F. Snow on the side of the road is fine, I avoid super wet roads, but have eaten plenty of water spray off the front wheel in below 40 degree temps. lol Still can't beat it.

Goes with the weather, avg 40 miles per day. I did ride 13,000 miles last year, most of it during the summer of course. I can ride 100 miles one nice summer day, 25 on a rainy day, 10 on a cold winter day :wink:

Approaching my 4th year of riding an eBike. I commuted to work for 10 years on a straight bike, then made the jump. Taking advantage of our Florida weather and a radar app, monthly miles average around 350 miles. Maintain two bikes and they have saved me tons of money and time sitting in traffic. Today I rode the bike to work, returned home and grabbed the car just to park at the train station. Aside from double knee replacements and the therapy derived from peddling....I avoid driving at all cost. I feel free and in control when I'm on an eBike

I think i do around 600 miles per month during the best six-month riding season. Which has just started this week :wink:
Without commute. Just riding around. On this kind of larger city area where i live there"s almost endless spaghetti of paths, lanes and roads on 50km radius.
I still find something new on most rides even when i have done something like 20k miles around here with e-bikes alone.
