It looks like a lot for the money. However, if something goes wrong, the seller is not likely to be any help.
It's a good price, but it's a bit of a gamble.

Hard to tell what the motor is by the pic. The way the wire comes out the axle doesn't look like Aotema or Clyte, but the hub doesn't look as big as 9 continent or golden. That's the list of the major direct drive motors, and it also doesn't resemble a gearmotor. But motors do tend to work ok, it's controllers, wiring connectors, chargers etc that tend to go wonky. Any of that is fairly cheap to replace.

The v power batteries have a mixed reputation. If the shipper doesn't pack so good, then it may arrive with some broken connections. The spot welds on the cells inside can pop if they drop the package from far enough height, like falling off the conveyor belt.

But $500 shipped to your door is cheap, why not try it? Because you can do much better if you do have money. Like a 9 continent kit and pingbattery, or headways.

The motor looks like my Grubee hub, which had no problems pushing fat me 30mph with a 72v30a controller. I picked mine up used and painted it flat black, so ignore the dirt and paint. At that price, the battery is suspect. If it is a Grubee and shipping is reasonable, then it's worth a shot if you accept at least a 50/50 chance you'll have to put in some battery repair or rebuild time and effort. Here's my Grubee:

Is this a second hand bargin ? or a brand new kit ?

Most likely you have to check that V-Power LifePO4 cause there are many reports that some cells are damaged caused by deep charged by the BMS when not used for a long time with the BMS connected.

02jze, Is this a Ebay deal or what? As the rest are saying Vpower has a 50% rating as how good the battery is, I have a couple I got cheap from Ebay but they needed work in short time. They are ok now that I did a rebuild. The hub looks like a CONHIS but the wire comes out the wrong side, so no guess. $500 with shipping or plus shipping.
Good luck which either way you go.
Dan
