Hybrid car Engine

anyone no how this bolts to the engine and works. looking at it a can't work out how the motor spins the engine.
is the center stator bit held in by the magnets in the picture and when the outter bit bolts to the engine do you think the inner stator bolts to the engine crank.

It bolts in place of a flywheel to the crank. The outer section is sandwiched between the motor and the transmission, the inner section is the car's flywheel.
