Great day today guys, big thanks to Sokol and T3sla for being good sport bad guys, letting me kill them over and over and putting up with me being an asshole directorHopefully you're not too sore Sokol from your scripted and more specifically unscripted crash! It actually came out well on my rear facing camera so I'll make use of your misfortune and dub in a gunshot, making out I shot you off the bike

The gopro shifted down and I missed all the main kill shots. ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH :x
Oh man, so many good shots ruined. I should have kept my phone out to live preview the shots. DAMN IT
Rix said:Go speed racer go!!!! That was fast Jay. Can't wait to see the movie. Yesterday I went to Reno and low and behold, the world's rib cook off was swinging in full affect. So naturally I went to the Sydney stand and ate 14 bucks worth of ribs and drank 3 liters of Jalapeno beer. Had to hang out for several more hours before I was Okay to drive home. Anyway it was the first time I had seen the sun and blue sky in the last 2 weeks. Wind changed and blew the Yosemite fire smoke to the west. Sydney was represented proudly by these guys.

Yeah I was just thinking that! I'm not sure what Aussie / Sydney ribs actually are! If you come to my house I can tell you my missus cooks them with BBQ plum sauce but that's about the extent of my knowledge. And jalapeno beer... hmmm, sounds like a good ploy to get you to drink more of it. If you knocked back 3 litres of it it sounds like it worked! I had an assortment of funny beers when I was in London a few years back. The grapefruit one sticks in my mind!remf said:That's funny cos here in Sydney we prefer American ribs...not too sure about the Jalapeño beer though
Cheers mate. It's certainly the fastest stealth around. I think doctorbass holds the record for the fastest proper bicycle at 106 km/hr, though John in CR has some scooter hubs doing some silly speeds. I'm going to exclude them though because they use 10-12" wheels which don't really qualify as a a bicycleThat sure was fast...one of the quickest ever I'd sayNice work Jay !!!
Hyena said:I think I'll replace it down the track with a slightly slower wind. Something that does 70-80km/hr is ideal IMO. Most of the time you'd be doing 50 or under but that burst of midrange torque up to say 65-70 is killer.

I feel the teaser shots have done their job at making the film look better than it actually is. hahaRix said:Damn Jay, those teaser shots make me want to fly down and be a part of the next one. How cool. Cant wait to see the movie.
heh I hadnt given it any though actually. What ever it is, I chompin at the bit waitingWhats it called, E Road Warrior? Or "The Heyenator?" A fast ebike builder sent back in time to fix slow SLA Powered heavy as hell ebikes and to restore happiness to the universe.
No hunches necessary, there's no question it's a fast wind! I gave my old man his bike yesterday as a fathers day present (t3sla you'll be pleased to know I fitted new brakes front and rear before handing it over) so had nothing to ride to work this morning so decided to take the fighter sans rear brakes and chain. I gave it a hit a few times pulling some big speeds but still only used 6ah getting to work which is the same as I used to get from my 9C commuter so that's not bad. (4060 uses about 4.5ah, geared motor around 4 or just under for the 16km trip)I think your motor is a fast wind. Call it a hunch.
Yeah definately at ~48v it'd be more well behaved. Even 200 amps would probably be heaps. And it doesn't need to be continuous unless you're trying to maintain highway speeds. Cruising along at sensible speeds it happily draws sub 20 ampsMaybe the hot setup would be 12-14S at 300 amps continues, that will help with torque thrust issues a little
We have McDonaldsWe have the "Outback Steak House" here in the states, What do you guys have down under, "American Steak House?"
To do it justice I think I really need to hang off and collect some more footage. I've got some good shots but not enough to make a proper job of it. Obviously the whole thing is highly amateur so the acting and video work will probably make a B grade porn flick look good, but hey, I wanted to try something different.
