hah, good call. As long as she performs I dont care if she gets hot and bothered and needs the extra padding.litespeed said:is like a "Skinny girl with big boobs just to find out she was wearing a padded bra!"
Yep, it has paste, Ive never used one that doesntTheBeastie said:Do they ever use thermal paste on these things? It should really help.
Yeah once I'm happy with a configuration and test it plenty, then make it atleast somewhat noob proof I'm happy to build kits with these. Currently there's alot of stuffing around though to get them to fit a normal bike or even a 150mm axle DH bike so I'll need to consider all that and the costs involved. Cromotors aren't dissimilar and are quite reasonably priced because the guys are buying in bulk. I on the other hand am buying small quantities and currently paying a heap in air shipping then alot of expensive local labour so it's impossible to compete unless I can buy in bulk, have them made to my specs and then sea shipped. We'll see.Rix said:Jay, this really got my attention. You going to have these for sale? I know if you get that to fit your fighter, it will fit the Bomber. I found a line on a 5405 for 400 bucks. That's next for me. Anyway I really like where your future build is heading.
Yeah lots of options, depending on how silly I go with the motor I may run a small radiator and run both the motor and controller water cooled - but thats a way off yet. I also like my previous suggestion of dual air and oil cooled sealed motor so I'll have to assess all options. I got a spare set of side covers in any case so I can play with different set ups.voicecoils said:Internal frame mounting sounds promising, or a smaller case with fan forced cooling. Or drill a hole through the T shaped aluminium piece the fets are bolted to and water cool it![]()
And yeah T-man, a CNCd case isnt out of the question, though if I go with a box monococque frame then I'll use just the whole thing as a sink.
Ouch. The only thing inguinal hernias are good for is prancing around at the beach in speedos & yup, I had an indirect inguinal hernia which was repaired laparoscopically with mesh. Luckily caught and operated on well before the intestines had the chance to push down into my sack
