only rode with regen enabled (not a fan of how that feels)
You mean throttle off regen ? If you're used to riding an ICE bike the backoff compression braking type feel is actually a familiarity and in traffic I prefer it. For general riding a good 50% of the time I'd use downshifts and compression braking to slow right down. That said I didnt play with it on the zero and if it was enabled on the 2 I rode it wasnt terribly noticable.
In AUS I'd have considered buying it, but part of me believe I'd get more use out of a stealth.
With a similar price tag for the smaller capacity zero and the bomber the zero would be a no brainer for me.
For general riding anyway, unless you primarily ride in national parks or other places where people with big sticks or ticket books will chase you.
That said, and now to contradict myself, I obviously have a stealth and not a zero. haha.
The deep pocketed answer is I need one of each.
In China I'd just get this instead and stay away from the city while riding, more for clean straight runs
Yeah I came across those a while back. I wonder if the 1500w power rating is almost some sort of regulatory requirement. 1500w on a motorbike of that weight would be comicly bad. It doesn't look overly small scale with a rider on it but he could be a little 5 foot chinaman given the wheels are only 13". haha
Did you see the thickness of dropout material at the back of the swing arm ? Jesus H Allah
They dont look too bad from a distance but this shot tells what the quality is really like. I dont know what part of the bike this is but urggh, I count atleast 5 things wrong with it. Ride at your own risk.
Speaking of e-motos and madasses, there's also this chinese one which is a pretty close knock off and actually doesnt look too bad IMO.

Again small wheels (14") and the little currie style motor is no doubt underpowered but this one only weighs 45kg which seems too light to be safe. And that's before you keep scrolling down and find that it folds up too!
