Ah, the samsung 33g

I'm gonna assume your pack is 18ah based on that cell. And also assuming these are genuine 33G cells ( not sure )
These do allright on 1C continuous ( 18ah x 1 = 18A )
Peak ( not continuous, for 5-10 min when accelerating ) @ 2C = 36A is the point where we're starting to make significant heat and sagging a lot, we don't really want to push them further. Performance and cycle life just get bad. We create a fire risk if we heat them up too much for too long.
I'd say if you set a current limit for 35A and make sure your motor isn't pulling >25A continuously, you're good. But i'm betting you have a motor that's designed for high speed, which might be bad.
