I think my new charger Burn out my DC Converter

Hi I have a velocifero Mad scooter 1600w I bought a new charger for it input 100_240ac 50/60Hz 2.5A max output DC54.6V-2. And my Original charger 48v-1600ah When I plug the new charger in it burn out my DC converter I was wondering if this is the right charger for my scooter
 
Can you share photos? And what was wrong with the old charger?
 
The first picture is my old charger it just stopped working and The bottom one the new charger when I plug it in the green light stays on it’s not charging the battery until my DC converter burnt out
 
He’s the two chargers.

the pin layout may be different. check the diagrams between the two to see if it is.

double check with a multimeter just incase.
 
Your old charger is 56V max output voltage for Lead Acid. The new charger is 54.6V for Lithium battery. So doesn’t look like the right charger. It should have just under charged the battery. But as you say, maybe the 1.6A vs 2.5A output has burnt something out.

If I'm reading it correctly the pin orientation looks right. Maybe check with multimeter?
