Unfortunately I'm tied up today. Plus, my bikes are all in parts right now Pedal only.
How long are you in town? What brings you to the fine city of Barrie?

Lots of ebikes in town. Downtown and waterfront are the best place to meet ebikers.
Unfortunately of the 20 plus ebikers I've spoke with, none were registered members of ES.
They are consumers, not hackers like us.
Still awesome to see so many people finding the convenience and cost effectiveness of ebikes desirable.
You will probably see 10 scooters for every bike, but there are a few kool bikes in town.
Seen a Stromer, a cruiser and fattie Pedego, lots of Bionx kits installed by LBS. Used to be a South African fellow here in town that was converting stretch cruisers.
Plus one guy on an unidentified bike, a rigid that look manufactured, that was flew by me at at least 50kph.
Like to catch and chat him sometime.

Little cool today, but nice to lose the humidity.
If you get a chance walk the lake path. Beautiful and not too busy Mondays.

Been walking the Waterfront nearly daily
I've seen a couple of electric scooters. The 32kph type and one true scooter that whipped by doing close to 60kph.
I might be here for the week!

There are two guys I've met that have de-restricted their scooters to great effect.
One guy has a 72v Daymak model that did 75kph. Monster hub on it. Much bigger physically than most escooters, really pushing the legal weight limits. Running lead bricks. Can't imagine it went far at that speed. He put the restricter back on, too much attn and no range.
The other guy had an Emmo model, not sure which. Again it was a fattie, no pedalling these beasts more than a few feet. This one had lithium though. De-restricted it was running around 60kph. He likes it that way. Can't blame him, as that is what these scoots seemed to be designed for. Commuting, errands, passengers and clean looks. As long as he stays off the walkways no attn.
