I got an EB224 controller that has 8 shunts (about half the resistance of a stock one).
I know I should program the controller with half battery amps that im looking for but does the same applies to phase current?

As a rule, I start with I-Batt * √3 = I-Phase, and up to I-Batt * 2.5. Lower is more economical, better for distance… and the reverse is true for a mightier hungry horse.

Sounds like one wicked controller!

Was I was trying to say it something like this.

If I want to run 100a battery 200a phase with half the resistance at the shunt should I program the controller with

50a battery and 200a phase?
or
50a battery and 100a phase?
