There goes Jeremy, much more eloquent than I could ever muster even when slapping someone with a trout :)

ps: I may not be able to spell for sh** but I can code in 14 lanaguages (high level) and most MCU asm... I can also tell you if you managed to piss Jeremy off - YOU must have done somthing seriously asshat, he is about the most mellow fellow on ES.

pps: While I'm all for posing silly, inflamatory or previously addressed and answered technical issues over and over again... there really is a point where people (reasonable people, not me) begin to have their patients tried :)

i still think he was phishing. there are suckers everywhere and if you say the right things in a certain order they are like flies to carnage.

i just hope the google bot will preserve this to prevent someone from linking their bank account to his.

Oh crap - this was a serious request at one time? LOL
Phishing might be the nice way to put it...

I don't think anybody here cares much one way or the other if you are a top IBM engineer or if (like me and other regulars) you are just a kid messing around in his shed..

Segadoma

Why don't you go play in the street and leave this forum to those who want to learn and share experiences.

You bring nothing to the party on either count.

Nope, not french, just a smartass american. Doesn't change the fact that you're still ignorant.

I've worked for GE, whats your point?
frodus said:

Yes, so what. They're both 3-phase designs without brushes. Your argument was that these were all DC motors, they're not.
frodus said:
Induction motors CAN BE cheap,

I've seen some pretty expensive liquid cooled ACIM's designed for high reliability, efficiency and low weight..... Its not ALWAYS true. That was my point, but I guessed you missed it again.
frodus said:

Yeah, didn't think so. Google is your friend.

stupid: maybe a 20. You seem intelligent, but you're like a 150 on the ignorant scale.

Yeah, nothing special.

much more than that, but that was never my point. My point was that you're wrong about your assumptions on this forum.

Then you haven't spent much time researching.

I hate scooters, and that one is ugly. Sorry, my opinion, if you don't like it, "don't let the door hit'ya where the good lord split'ya".

Fine, then stop acting like it.
frodus said:

Wow, you're completely stupid. I take back what I said, you're a 150 on the stupid scale too. I never argued that ACIM's were bad, just stating that I'm using one. You were arguing about DC motors being bad.... we were saying that MOST of the builds here are BLDC motors. I was pointing out that your assuming a lot, acting like an arrogant jerk, insulting people and you've really done nothing impressive. You completely missed my point.
frodus said:

Just giving you my background, so you know I'm not just some dude with a voltmeter and battery.
frodus said:

Yeah, robots with VFD's, ACIM's, Servos in them. Pretty damn relivant to this conversation.

Jeremy Harris said:

do more research, you CAN tell them what to do, run your own code, but they have all of the 3-phase stuff done for you. All that code for vectors and current limiting, etc are all built in. You plug in the motor parameters, hook it to the power stage and away she goes.
Jeremy Harris said:
dedicated three phase timing logic built in.
... that can be replaced with a code that costs nothing?
that takes a while to develop reliable and efficient code and your time has to be worth something, right? and the processors don't cost much more than a normal uC.

Yeah, as you're looking for an investor, he'll do a search on the project, you, your buddy and see how much of a prick you are. It hurts no one but yourself. Way to go Vasko Ackovski. Good work!

Guys, I did a little research on this guy! Turns out he's 14! I think we need to go easy here. Heck, I'm like way older and I still haven't got my bike going. Neat article too, no one wrote an article about me!

This is the article I found.

Arizona Times, April 16, 2010
E16 Local Entertainment Section
-Justin Kaase, Author

One small step for Steven Goadma, one giant leap for transportation! In a small Arizona garage, a local grade 9 teen has been busy building an electric vehicle, sponsored by his local high school shop club, designed to use solar and other green power systems. Steven says, "I just thought, hey, if I can do it, I bet other people can do it too. Then we can save the environment!" He started with a small scooter donated to Ragmount High School by local businessman and scooter tycoon Jack Moff. Through his high school electronics training, he developed the control system and the batteries to run this small electric vehicle. According to Steven, when this is completed, it will have a top speed of 50 mph and haul loads of up to 1000 lbs. Not bad Steven, be safe and keep up the good work!

Now things are beginning to make sense :)

Yep! ... I found the Holy Grail.

Guys, I vote that we just collectively stick this pain in the arse on 'ignore' and stop responding to his pretty obvious trolling.

In case anyone doubts that he's just a troll, just look back and see how many questions he's actually answered, or see if you can find anything useful he's contributed in any post. All he's done is come back with more insults, using the classic dumb troll trick of just dismissing facts and throwing out more ill-informed juvenile rhetoric.

This forum is about working collectively to come up with stuff; this character isn't mature enough to recognise that and appears to have no respect for anyone other than himself. If we stop rising to his bait he won't have anyone to play with, will probably get bored and go and practise his form of 'fun' on another forum somewhere.

Jeremy

Yes

Agree with that Jeremy, there is another quite popular forum that has been run down by exactly the same problem over the years to the point where nobody posts anything of worth any more so it is very important to keep the trolls off the board and I never rise to take the bait anyway.

Its plainly clear this guy isn't 14 from his answers alone and from the video he also isn't in California either? may be worth one of the admins locking this down for a while to see if things clear up.

Done and done! You always have good advise Mr Jeremy :)
I can't see any genuine investor :: cough:: except for mwkeefer of course
taking this arrogant chap and his "scooter" seriously.

p.s BWAHAHA ...Frodus, mate...don't hold back next time, tellz him how you really feel buddy
loved ithahaa, totally agree with you 100% too ...well said.
