Is there a hardwarelimit for batterycurrent on Flipsky 75100?

Hello to everyone,

I am struggeling with my Flipsky 75100 Controller.

I want it to draw 30A from the battery, but it only draws 20A. I configured it for 30A, I tested 40A but it sticks to 20A.
When I write the 30A oder 40A via Vesctool to the controller, the value gets stored in the controller. After powercycling I can see the value, I've written to it, so I am sure, it is saved in the controller.
But still the batterycurrent does not exceed 20A.

Is this a hard limitation on this controller, or is there anything, I might have missed to notice?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Stefan

Sounds like you're hitting phase current limits--what's your phase current max set to? That's the most important info to know before trying anything else. Set the phase current to 100a and see what happens.
(Oh, and no there is no such hardware limit, the battery current limit is identical to the phase current limit = 100a)

I don't think this is correct. You can set independent battery and phase current settings. Only phase has an abs (fault current)limit. The battery current limit is defined in the hardware conf and is definitely higher than 30A. Probably in the hundreds of amps...

You're likely, hitting either:
Phase amps set too low
Another limit like power setting
Not allowing your motor to spin up fast enough (so stuck at low duty...)
Motor just has too high inductance so can't physically take more.
