is this a good frame for a build?

I have a golden motor hub and I couldn't pass up this deal on a cro-mo frame. What do you think?

I have a steel KHS softail that has held up well (pedal powered, only).
The DJ200 should be just as good.
I bid on a KHS B***ch awhile back on EBay, to no avail. It is similar to the DJ200, but with a curved top tube.

I got a chromoly frame bike. My only beef with the bike I have is that for some reason I feel all the bumps compared to my steel frame bike. Also, I measured the wheel base and my chromoly bike is at least 1 inch shorter in wheel base than my steel frame bike. The steel frame bike is supposed to be of lesser quality but it gives a better ride for some reason. The chromoly is worth $200 more than the steel frame. I'll probably just get some schwalbe big apples to smooth out the ride.

Cro Mo or chromoly is steel. It's a high strength, low alloy steel that contains chromium and molybdenum.
It's worth more than the high tensile steel in cheap bikes because it's stronger and lighter for a given tube size. It's often referred to as "aircraft tubing".
The difference in wheelbase, along with some other factors of the geometry, is probably what makes the ride feel more harsh.

What's not to love on that if you want a hardtail? Only if the frame triangle is too small for the battery would it be unsuitable. Big traditional looking road frame style bikes have the most triangle room of course.

i would want one that folds up for easy transport. its a very usefull feature to have.

The cheaper frame is probably flexing significantly more than the chromoly frame, and that is why you feel the bumps less with it--it's acting like a flex-suspension. Unfortunately that means that it will fatigue faster, most likely. ;)
