Hello everyone. I need some advice on building SUV full suspension Ebike with mudguards and rack if possible.

1. I need Frame full suspension (aluminum) with bold threads for rack, could be optional. I'm looking in medium upright geometry with front suspension up to 130mm, I'm not going to do any crazy DH. Maybe some one have build already something like this and can point me some good options.

2. Bafang m510 middrive - i guess this is best option power and weight ratio? Also battery, would like to have some good producer, that fits the bike frame (hidden).

Everything else should be easy accessible. I'm located in EU.

For reference i like Cube stereo hybrid, or specialized turbo tero x 6.0. Both dont have throttle, that's why I want to build my own bike. Thanks.

How much weight for the rack to carry? I use a seat post clamp-on rack on my FS but have to be careful not to overload it, trying to keep overall load to less than 10, maybe 15 lbs.

Fender mounting points are not very common on FS bikes so you will have to get creative. Mine are mounted partly to the brake caliper mounting screws, wraparound clamps, and hole drilled in the fork arch.

If the rack is mounted on the unsuspended part, it and the load it carries will keep the suspension from working as designed.

If it's a front rack, you could extend the toptube out over the wheel to carry the rack (a number of bikes have this built in, some of them posted on ES over the years). If you can weld then you can do it that way, or you can do a clamp-on extension.

Or you can mount the rack to just the upper part of the suspension, and not to the lowers where the wheel mounts.

If it's a rear rack, it depends on how the frame is designed for where you can put the supports for it to properly connect it to the suspended part of the frame (not the swingarm) so that it supports the load, doesn't damage the frame or seatpost, and doesn't wag the bike as you pedal. One suggested option for this is posted in Dogman Dan's "bouncing betty" longtail frankenbike thread.

The mudguards can mount to the suspension parts (lowers and swingarm); there are various posts about guards and fenders showing assorted mounting methods and such, including some that 3d printed or manufactured their own.

The drive system you want requires a frame specifically designed for it. It cannot be added to a standard frame. So you are limited to bikes that already have it built in, or frames you can manage to find that are made specifically for it. Or a frame you build yourself to fit it.

If you want a battery that is "hidden", and "fits" the frame, that sounds like you would require a frame designed to fit that specific battery in the frame itself, and you'd either have to build that custom, yourself, or you'd have to find one that fits the battery you want to use in it...and *also* fits the drive system you want to use, which is going to limit your choices a lot more (possibly down to zero).

Sounds like you might be better off with a ready-made bike, as your needs coincide with typical offerings quite well. Off the top of my head, Nicolai builds amazing SUVs, as you can order their gearbox belt driven one with all the accessories. A lot of mite companies are starting to go into this segment, though. At the very least that should give you a lot of inspiration.

Using a rear rack on a full suspension frame can work using a stiff but flexible aluminum stick or two, rack attached at rear dropouts, and sticks to a spot behind the seatpost, it only limits the frame shock slightly. If you are forced to get creative.
