I'm looking for isolated single cell charger IC to stack up and charge cells individually on 1 board. are there anything out there like that? or isolated dc-dc converter that is constant voltage at 4v and current limiting?

I am planing to build my own set of 2 chargers each for 8 lifepo4 cells. I am looking to use these because they look small and are low cost and they are completely isolated. You can but them as single units for $12.95 or as a batch of 10 or more for $10.95 each. There are several people on ES using these already. The only problem is they are only 2a and I would like to find something with a little higher amperage.

The way I charge my packs is to use these:

They have isolated outputs, so each can be connected to a common power supply yet charge a series connected pack. Their outputs can be trimmed up to about 3.65V easily. The full data sheet is here:http://www.synqor.com/datasheets/PQ48033QNA25_Datasheet.pdf

You need a pretty hefty 48V supply to drive them at their full rated current of 25 amps per cell, though. I use a couple of Meanwell switched mode supplies from China. There are often smaller DC-DC converter modules ones around on eBay - I recently bought some 15 amp ones for just $2.99 each.
