Just got my 1000w 48v ebike kit from yescomusa, I've been dreaming of building my ebike for two years now. I've taken the first step and brought the kit, but I want to know what is the best battery option for me.
My goal is to use my hard tail MTB for offroading purposes, and the option to hang it on my bike rack on my car. Basically like a electric "dirt bike", I want about 20 mile range or so and will ride the bike almost every day. I will hitting the dirt trails, parks, and rare occasions on the street. I thought about lipo but I never soldered batteries before, I have a soldering iron and gun so I am familiar with soldering computer components.
I will mainly use the electric motor for uphills and rough terrain, I intend to just let the bike coast down on the dirt paths.
Any help would be appreiated thanks.
