I originally used the VESC and lever's single HUB motor on a loaded dervish.. worked well and looked great but it was a too big and too similar to my boosted board. I wanted something shorter, more maneuverable, with a kicktail to bring places.

I used a flat lunchbox as the enclosure (saw someone else using it on here- works really well.) Was able to fit 2 x 4s/5000 - could probably fit more with better wire management... using with nunchuck soldered directly to contacts on the VESC - seems stable now.

Almost silent using FOC with newest VESC firmware.

The board is short and a bit unstable at >20 mph but is really fun, easy to turn and maneuver in crowds. also very light and easy to carry.

Sweet mini board!

I love my pocket rocket(still building)- small boards are perfect beach carvers.

Thanks! I just finished it today, and will weigh it up when I get home.
