Hài had lot of problem with conhismotor, because i toast a regenerative controller because i used a lead acid battery pack, but since they told me there was no problem, now, weeks of continuous fighting later, and a complaint in paypal they are sending me a new controller (i paid 20usd just for the shipping). i have planned to keep using my batteries but i´m diactivating regen mode, i will enjoy my batteries until the day they die then i´ll buy a lifepo4 pack. But i don´t know why conhismotor is trying to make me think that i can´t use my lead acid batteries even with regen disable by confused emails...now i even not sure if i can damage my controller by using lead acid batteries with no regen!!, for me it doen´t make sense because if batteries are bad in this mode they just go to a low voltage, or low current, things wich can not break my controller...can it?!?! look to the emails...
Firstly there was any kind of problem by using lead acid batteries, now...don´t even think about it!!! what the hell with this people??? i am soooooo tired of this bunch of jerks!
i have so many bullshit (really! i have more than a hundred emails!) that i am going to write a book wich named will be "Handbook for Being a Perfect Jerk, The Adventures and Misfortunes of Pablo"...
So, is there any problem in using my batteries with my controller with regen mode disabled?
Best regards guys
EDIT: by the way, anyone can answer to this?:
Could you tell me how high could be the regenerative current for this controller? Also i would like to know how much could rise the battery voltage when the controller is regenerating.

Get rid of the thoughts on using this controller to the Lead-acid battery.
I don't know either, I need check with our engineer.
I will update to you once I get it.
Best regards
Barbara
ME said:Hi Barbara,
I should get rid of using this controller with regenerative braking and lead-acid battery, not using this controller with lead acid battery at all, because i can deactivate regen mode. It is important you tell me the data i asked you, because in a future i will buy a battery pack, and i want to be completely sure it´s going to work.

If you use a 48V LiFePO4 battery with BMS, then there is no problem.
For 48V 1000W motor, you can choose 48V 20AH Li-ion battery.
Best regards
Barbara
