Don't know but intend to take a closer look at the LED driver circuitry. In theory, there is no reason it couldn't. Why 12V, though?

johnamon said:Hi guys,
I have just hooked up a Skyray S6 to a 9V (supposedly 3000ma) wallwart psu and it runs great on low and middle setting.
At high setting the wallwart enters hiccup mode and the light goes out, which may mean the psu can't deliver 3amps at all, or may mean it just can't deliver 3amps when being supplied 45+ volts from my 12s lipo pack.
As others have stated there is very little brightness difference between the skyray's middle and high settings, so I am a happy bunny
An unexpected perk of the psu crapping out on high setting is that I don't have to cycle past strobe mode to switch the skyray off! :?
