level assist set up

Hi all,
I'm new here and was wondering if anyone has any experience with the 48v 1000w SW900 LCD dash and controller set up? I have had to replace an older type lcd and controller with this set up (due to a crash) and have got everything working ok after going through an online manual but can't seem to gain the 5 levels of assist like my old one. It seems to be full power no matter what level I choose. I'm not using the crank sensor but have selected the correct number for throttle only.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm facing similar problems. Think some one mentioned that the only way to get better throttle action is to install a pas sensor. Here's a useful page for setting original factory settings of the sw900
