Lumens per dollar, auto HID is tough to beat, and at 35W its not too bad as far as power draw either. You can pull some projector internals from a light housing at an auto salvage yard for cheap. Ditch the big housing and it'd be nice and compact. If I needed lots of light I'd look it to doing it that way.

It was way too expensive anyway. I checked that one out a while back. I think a few of the pro motoX guys used those helmet mounted in the baja 1000.
