Anyone got any ideas on a reliable and small unit please? Looking to convert my fully charged 22s pack (94v) down to 12v for the purple brake wire on my Sabvoton to enable regen braking :thumb:

I can just about guarantee you already have 12v inside the controller to tap from a TO220 style 7812 regulator (whcih then feeds a 7805). It's possible that it has an SMPS in there instead, but there's usually still 12v to run the gate drivers of the controller.

You wouldn't want to run external lights or whatever off of it, but I can't imagine it doesn't have enough capability to switch it's own ebrake.

I've no idea about tapping into feeds inside tbh.Im sure I read somewhere I can connect high brake direct to 12v or direct bike pack same as ignition
