Hi,
Not sure if this is the place to ask about this project, but you guys are the closest to the topic I could find.
I am using a 60v green works battery with a Buck converter to power a 24v solar well pump (SHURflo 9300).
The problem I have is it pulls the battery too low and I I have to parallel to a good battery to bring it back to life.
Next I added a,
XY-CD63 is a DC 6V-60V 30A Battery Charge Discharge Voltage Monitor.
I believe I have it set up correctly but the Greenworks 60v battery (62.2V) is just over the 61V maximum upper limit settings and the thing cycles itself on and off.
I am not finding an adjustable low voltage cutoff option that goes above 60V.
I will eventually fix the primary problem by moving the solar up higher on a ridge to get better winter sun. So this battery project can’t get too elaborate.
Do you guys have any advice on some kind of low voltage protection?
What should I set the cut off voltage at for the Greenworks battery?
Thanks for any input,
Alex.
