Luke's new race bike build thread.

Oh, there is much threads about this bike around here. Just so hard finding just this one. One of them he made jokes about selling it, you just had to be willing to risk your life on it.

Maybe the opportunity is still there. . . .

Hi Luke,

I just had a question for you because I don't know shit about making electric horsepower and I
have this continuing dream of building an MX bike that could beat a modern 450.

I was getting data about the Agni 95r motors and ran across this page on the
Mavizen website:

http://www.mavizen.com/build_your_own/parts.html

It looks like you could have 2 Angi motors and a 1200 amp 120 volt Kelly
controller that runs 2 motors. Would that setup beat a 450 motocrosser?

Motomoto, you may want to checkout these guys:
http://www.evdrive.com/prototypes/category/e-moto-crf250r/

Their first prototype had 33rwhp and was quicker than a stock standard CRF250R. Their Gen2 offering will have around 50rwhp and should easily keep up with a stock standard 450.

It may give you some ideas anyway

EDIT: Crap, sorry i must have skipped over your post above somehow! Beware he's claiming 60hp at the motor/ 50hp at the back wheel, not 50kw (67hp).

The video compares it to a crf250x not a crf250r. As we compare ICE to electric we need to be very careful on the little details like that. I am 100% for an electric future! And I know it will be faster in every form with time.... We don't need to use little lies to win people over or else we will have all the naysayers jumping up.

You actualy posted what their website says so its not your fault. But they are using a 250x in the video you can tell by the tripometer and the kickstand.
