Hi guys, just wondering if I can get peoples opinions on the most user friendly and easy to use BMS. I notice that most battery packs that can be purchased these days don't even have a Bluetooth BMS and I'm guessing it's because they are more trouble than they are worth especially for a seller. I'm guessing It's just easier for them not to add one due to being glitchy, hard to connect to and to use at times.
So I thought I'd ask from those of you who are experienced with maybe trying a few different brands. Which brand does anyone highly recommend due to ease of use?

I'm guessing your more interested in battery brands with good BMS interfaces than BMS boards sold separately from batteries but anyway I've got a Daly smart BMS like this. I don't think it fits what your asking for in terms of UI either since there's so much room for improvement. I've found it quite reliable though. Never had any issues connecting, does what I want it to. Wiring was straightforward, same as any other BMS. The app is where it's really let down, the interface is clunky at best, some odd translations and stuff. Very little in the way of guides/faq/support. But I was able to tweak a few basic settings I cared about like low/high voltage cutoff, balance starting voltage, etc. without much difficulty. I can also connect easy enough and check the various cell voltages.

Is it the most user friendly BMS possible? Definitely not, far from it even. One of the most user friendly out there? As you've discovered, options aren't great.

Thanks guys for your input. I have heard about Daly BMS and it looks well made. It’s good to know that it functions fairly well too. I think I have also heard the name JKBMS along with these the only other ones I know of are QUTT and LLT but I don’t know how user friendly they are.
Maybe we could get a list up of as many Bluetooth BMS’s that Endless Sphere members know of and then if we get peoples input from there we may be able to find a winner. Anyone, what Bluetooth BMS are you using??
So I know of.

Daly
JKBMS
QUCC
LLT

I had a failed BMS and ended up replacing it with a JBD Bluetooth BMS, pretty cheap at like 22 euros.

You can use different apps, their advanced app, has an overwhelming amount of settings.
Had 1 little issue when writing settings and it lost connection, so the BMS was stuck in "writing" mode, couldn't read my BMS anymore during charge. After trying everything, at some point it resolved itself lol.

I think Bluetooth BMS's are great and a must have for monitoring battery health and configuring stuff. I know for example that group 1 in my pack is the least healthy group and I have to keep an eye on it now.

Orion Jr. or, any of the Orion BMS have great build, feature, documentation, and cust. support. The price is higher new, but not more than the value you're getting. I have been setting up an Original Orion 32S pack, and already spoken with their support staff several times for good guidance. You can find their systems on 3rd party auction sites to make the expense more reasonable.
