Motor-Mount-Holes Standard

Hi,

I'm totally new to e-skateboarding.
So first i'd like to say hello.

I have quite some experience with ebike builds though.
A problem that we ebike mid-drive guys have is a standard mount of motors (wich is always solveable for sure)

And it seems that same is true for motors used on e-skateboards.

so until now i came across 25, 28, 30, 32, 44, 44.1, and many different mounting hole distances.
sometimes ordered across, sometimes in a third of a circle.

What are your experiences with motor mountin hole distances.
My main interest is in 50-63 diameter motors >2kw.

like the enertion, alien-drive systems motors or the turnigy sk3, cause those seem to be the most used motors on e-longboards.

So please share your distance expereinces, that we/i can collect some reference here.

If you measure diagonally those are 44mm hole spacing

50mm motors measured diagonally have 30mm hole spacing

thats a pretty weired way to describe the hole distances in my opinion.

cause 32mm would mean 44 in diagonal right ?

i could not really believe that alien would just have 30mm in diagonal like stated on the technical drawing here.

thats nice, but for some reason i cannot open it in Autodesk inventor.
noramlly i do not have troubles with .SLD files

just if you have passion for it would you like to check the files or send them to me m_gernot (ät) gmx (pot) at
i mean creating a basic motor model is really easy but your look really nice

Hi, so i guess i can count with a standard of 44mm pitch with most motors and some do have 30mm (too, or weired standards)
I anyway will use some of the "usual" motors, so ill make my mount with 44mm, and rather look for fitting motors than making individual mounts.
