This was an antilope.

The guy is lucky somehow, that he was not riding DH with big trees around.
A friend of mine got killed crashing on a tree after hitting a deer in a DH trail.

Luckily not.

There are close cousins though, goats and deers. Sometimes a bear, more often a rabbit, they all can kill you.
