I have been a reader of Beard Team USA (and moustaches too) for a long time! I get a real hoot out of looking at guys that look like me compete! ... well sort of look like me.
I've just got the standard, yep I went to high school in the 70's, Marlboro man stash. Had it since the 70's. For quite a while I grew it into a full on handlebar stash, but got tired of all the waxing after about 6 years of it.
I have already grown my side burns really long and wide in honour of tour de france winner Bradley Wiggins, must i grow a tache as well. A few have been growing lip hair here in the UK where i work so i am a bit under pressure. Never actually grown one before
I can't do the 'stache thing; it gets irritating once it gets to just barely cookie-duster length. I usually keep it clipped really short. Used to let the beard grow but it catches on things, and the ferrets at work try to eat it and end up getting claws hung in it, so I only keep it at most an inch long, usually shorter.
Heck, i really only have a beard/stache becuase I don't have enough time to stay clean-shaven every day, since I'd have to do it twice a day cuz it grows too fast.
Now if only the hair on TOP of my head would do that....
for the past couple years ive been trying to grow a beard/moustache for the cause but it really isnt happening. well i cant really grow one at all. but ill try my best this time around.
I remember growing a beard when on the road for a few weeks motorbike traveling and it was a wirey stragely one so havent tried since but for this cause i'll give just a mo a go
Sorry guys. I started growing my winter fur this year about mid-October. The ‘stash is normally a spring byproduct. Sometimes… well, ok – only ONCE did a woman convince me to shave my ‘stash for her, but it was all for naught as our relationship did not advance further than a cuddle when what I wanted was a snuggle. So – there you have it: I grows my topiary as it suits me on a whim.
