Hi all,

The project is a WIP but I wanted to get this posted asap.

I thought it was time a chopper got a mid engine rather than the typical gas engine they sometimes get. I have a bbs02 MTB so thought to go HD on the chopper.

Congrats to AussieRider on their mid chopper, a lot of good work in that.

Thanks for the kind words Mr Hankey. Looking forward to seeing more of your creation. One advantage of using a hub motor in a mid drive as I did is that I didn't need to use a freewheel crank, allowing me to pick a nice custom style chainring. That's a novel battery mount but I heard it works & from my experience with my long wheelbase, shallow fork rake chopper I don't doubt it. Forward weight bias? On a chopper it's still behind the front wheel!
