Some details.
Make a conversion nikel to lithium.
Leaf cells are difficult to obtain.
I have a battery of a small scooter that want to recycle.
use a total of 784 cells 18650.
Samsung inr18650-29E cells with less than 50 cycles.
Sanyo ncr18650GA cells new.
9.54 kwh total capacity. at 1C discharge.
Make two or more packages. 36 cells in series.
Use bms of vectrixparts.
Cells without fuse assembly.
Joining the first cells with glue. Paste the first parallels of 22 cells.

That'd be a nice pack when done.

I just bought a 2nd hand Vectrix, with a low battery. About 3kwh left. Will be looking at a new pack when I can afford one.

Let me know how this goes. I wouldn't have the time to assemble a 700+ cell pack. I'd also be worried about the quality of welds taking out whole strings, or lower the capacity. A factory like Tesla could do it consistently and have good quality control, but much harder for a home user.

The battery I have is 16S20P with 29E.

I have thought about adding a package 6P GA. Each package 20P. Do not take away the welds.

29E package will have lost some capacity.
What I worry that 29E cells or GA, lose the ability differently over time.
29E package has little less than a year. Cells little over a year.

Between different packages and sides, I'll have to put plastic. These plastics have another battery:

Probably need more. ¿PVC plastic sheets would be appropriate? It would be good if they are resistant and fireproof.

I bought more ncr18650ga sanyo cells.
make the package with a 38S22P configuration. with ncr18650ga sanyo cells.

Finish attaching the cells in hotmelt, blokes 11p.
Complete the first weld.
I have received different batch cells with different voltage, 3.65V and each other to 3.5V.
I made a test capacity of 4 cells, and all are in a similar capacity. of 3300-3400 mah. 4.21V charge and 2.85V discharge.

I continue with the creation of the battery.

I had a problem with nikel strips. So far I have not been able to segir.

I am uniting the cells with hot glue.

Very nice. Is that just hot glue holding each cell together before the spot welding? Hard to see in some of the photos.

Hi Vicens,
It seems to me that mixing different batches of batteries is not a good idea...
