Would like to have a system to measure acceleration times and also time the run with line crossing detection like those RC transponder systems have.

Any idea if it can work for non track racing and if it can connect to my ebike with just velcro and power supply? or does it need an rc controller for data or something?

There are tons and tons of smartphone apps that do this. No need for extra devices.
