New lipos from Hobbyking!

hey folks, some quick advice please....
i just got my 7s compacts in and i'm planning on combining the 3s and 4s balance plug on one JST plug.
yes, i understand that each cell will be set up in a series with the positive (red) on one side and the negative (black wire on the other side) on the JST balance plug. Does this mean that i just cut off the " extra" black wire? or does it need to be soldered to the other black wire?
im a bit confused here... thanks for your help
thanks guys !!

2 of the wires are redundant and go to the same tab connection. Where the two plugs meet, between the third and fourth cell.
Cut one of those 2 wires and you'll be good to go.

Actually, if that plug actually needs a positive and negative wire for EACH cell, then that is a PITA.
If that's the case, then DON'T clip the redundant wire; it will be useful. You will have to add in 5 more wires, soldering one to each of the other 5 wires BETWEEN cells, for a total of 14.

got it guys ... thanks !! :)
