I bought a Tongsheng TSDZ2B 36V 250W conversion kit recently from Tongsheng.
The kit has a 1T5 harness , 9pin main connector and a Huiye 802N-U display. Everything worked fine.
I wanted to try the OSF firmware using the 860C display. I bought/made the appropriate adapters. I programmed the 860C successfully. See attached file below

To use the 860C with my TSDZ2B harness I made a male-to-male 5 pin cable that corrected the different pinouts and gender. See attached file.

Pinout is ....
Looking at the female connector with the notch at the top and going clockwise.
Female 5 pin TSDZ2B connector ---> Female 5 pin 860C connector
Pin1 (36V ) ---> Pin3 (36V)
Pin2 (GND) ---> Pin1 (GND)
Pin3 (Tx) ---> Pin4 (Rx)
Pin4 (Rx) ---> Pin2 (Tx)
Pin5 (PL) ---> Pin5 (PL)

Using the ST Visual software and the STLINK V2 programmer cable I installed the TSDZ2-vv20,1C5-1-1-860C,hex firmware on the TSDZ2B via the speed connector. The ST Visual software said the upload was successful.
Note: I took the normal procedures, backed up the original Program, Data and Options tabs and disconnected the battery.

Connected 860C to TSDZ2B harness via my adapter cable, reconnected battery and speed connector and turned on power. The 860C display turned on showing the Welcome page then blank, NOTHING. At the bottom of the Welcome page it said "wait TSDZ2"
The 860C display and the TSDZ2B controller don't seem to be "talking" to each other.
I swapped the Tx and Rx lines but that didn't help.
Please any advice gratefully received
