Overheating escooter 48v 500w motor enclosed fully 10 inch tyres

I bought a eco cruise 500w 48v escooter readymade every thing is good but motor feels overheating tyres are 10 inches top speed 45km/h
I rided it for 6 km at 40km/h speed and placing hand on motor for more than 10 sec was hard even if my palm skin is thick. My escooter is only 8 days old i checked both of my disc breakes aren't dragging motor type is gearless hub motor no vents for cooling manufacturer claims that this scooter can go 50km per charge but i think it need solution for cooling. In search of cooling solution i found out that statoraid is good but needs replacement after 1.5-2 years based on how often i use escooter. Please suggest what can i do controller and batteries does not heat much motor wires are that bring supply to stator are a bit thin side. Escooter display is TF-100 motor doesn't have temperature sensor. What should I do now.

I would say Statorade is about the only thing you can do. However, I would not worry about a temp where you can place your hand on it for 10 sec! I have run my custom scooter to the point where the controller was thermal throttling and too hot to touch at all and the motor was also too hot to touch more than briefly. Granted, my motor is (supposedly) rated for 3000w, so it can probably handle more.... But probably don't worry about the temp--it'll likely run fine for a while at least, and if it breaks, it was only a 500w motor and not worth too much. You can get a replacement or upgrade from Ebay for under $100. (I have picked up a fully functional 2000w 11" hub motor for $58--there are always great deals if you wait long enough!)

If it’s a direct drive motor not using statorade, then the stator inside is twice as hot as the outside of the motor. Statorade bridges the air gap between the stator and the motor case, so with it, the outside of the motor would even be hotter because the heat can flow from the stator to the case to allow cooling to happen. Right now your case could be lukewarm, but the stator is cooking itself along with the magnets and hall sensors. Usually hall sensors with fail first, then the magnets start to demagnetize, then the winding of the stator melt. But, if you stall the motor at full throttle, the windings would melt before the halls or magnets are affected. You could install a temp sensor when adding the statorade, and at least you'll know how much you're abusing the motor. Try to keep is below 90C.

Actually ebay is ban in my country and 500w 10inch motor is also a little expensive here so i want to add protection for over temp. Can i fill my motor with transformer oil not 100% because it will leakout from bearings only 3-4 inches while running oil will be forced to remain at walls or can i use ferro fluid instead of statorade because its not available here. Or can i add engine oil thick one so it doesn't come out that easily.

Thank you for replying i searched online and found statorade is not available in my country what can i do its alternative. Case is hot enough to stress me out so i can say stator is cooking. You are correct.
