Parallel Two 48V Battery Together? Kinda different voltage.

My current battery in my scooter is 48V 22ah and when fully charged, the voltage is 54.6V. My 2nd battery pack is 48V 8ah and when fully charged is 53.7v. My question is, can I parallel both together?

Run the first battery down to 53.7V before connecting them.

Will be fine even if you don't, 0.1 V per S-count

so 13S, ~1.3V delta is OK
